    Who is it suitable for? This qualification is suited to practicing electricians who currently obtain relevant experience. Other allied professions like surveyors, consultants and other trades who need to update and enhance their understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations could also benefit from this course. It is also suited to anyone who wishes to demonstrate their understanding of the IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

    What’s involved? This course ensures you are up to date with the latest industry regulations on wiring as well as the safe use and operation of electrical equipment and systems. It covers the 18th edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations which came into force in June 2008. The course program covers the following:

    • Scope object and fundamental principles
    • Definitions and terminology
    • Assessment of general characteristics
    • Protection for safety
    • Selection and erection of equipment
    • Special installations or location
    • Inspection and testing

     

    What books will I need? IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition BS 7671:2018+A2:2022. Candidates will also require a non-programmable calculator.

    How much does it cost?  £350 + VAT recommended for individuals new to Electrical or those with the 17th Edition but not amendment 3.

     

    1 Day Course

    How much does it cost?  £150 + VAT Recommended for those with the 17th Edition and amendment Number 3.

    Exam only option. How much does it cost: £80 + VAT.
