    Who is it suitable for?  This qualification aims to provide expert guidance to learners wishing to gain knowledge and understanding on Electric Vehicle charging equipment installation.

    What’s involved? This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians interested in understanding how to install the range of equipment and systems available, it covers the specialised installation requirements of electric vehicle charging equipment in public, private and commercial locations and includes exclusive guidance on electrical requirements. By the end of the course candidates will Understand and be able to apply selection, installation and commissioning of electric vehicle charging equipment in domestic, commercial and industrial locations.

    Entry requirements: This course is intended for practicing electricians however, there are no set entry requirements for these qualifications. Due to the safety implications of working with electricity and the guided learning hours associated with this qualification, it would be beneficial for learners to have a Level 3 qualification demonstrating competency associated with working in the electrical installation industry.
