    Training for Trade and Professionals

  • OFTEC Oil

  • OFTEC50 Training Course for all new entrants:

     

    Course Duration: 3 days of training + 1 day of revision to include the following elements:

     

    OFT 101 – Domestic/Light Commercial Commissioning & Servicing Assessment          

    Training for Oil Servicing & Commissioning technicians to obtain OFTEC 101 registration – allowing them to commission oil installations (with pressure jet burners) in accordance with the requirements of Part L of the current building regulations.

     

    OFT 102 – Vaporising Burners

    Training for Oil Technicians for commissioning and servicing of vaporising oil appliance.

     

    OFT 105E – Domestic/Light Commercial Installation

    Training for Oil Installers to obtain OFTEC 105E Registration – allowing Installers to ‘self-certify’ their own work and meet the requirements of Part J of the current building regulations.

     

    OFT 600A – Oil Storage Tank Installation

    Training for Oil Technicians wishing to obtain Registration as both an Installer and Oil Servicing/Commissioning technician.

     

    Total Cost: £400+ VAT (inc. certification fee).

     

    Candidates that have completed the OFTEC50 course can then book in for Assessment.

    Assessment for existing OFTEC Installers (reassessment) or candidates who have completed the pre-requisite OFTEC50 training course: 

    Assessment Duration: Half Day per element depending on experience.

     

    OFT 101 – Domestic/Light Commercial Commissioning & Servicing Assessment

    OFT 105E – Domestic/Light Commercial Installation

    OFT 600A – Oil Storage Tank Installation

    OFT 102 – Vaporising Burners

     

    Cost of assessment for each element: £150.00+VAT plus £50.00+VAT certification fee (only one certification fee applies).

    We do offer refresher training for reassessment of 101, 105E and 600A as a 1 day course for £100+VAT. (Training day is the Thursday of the Oftec 50 course)

    If you require training for 102, this is available for half a day at a cost of £50+VAT. (Training takes place on the Wednesday AM of the Oftec 50 course)
